Duke's Barn Farm is a boarding kennel based in Orrell, WN5 8JQ, listed on Wigan Council’s register of licensed animal activities.
Duke’s Barn Farm Boarding Kennels and Cattery on Brook Lane, between Orrell and Pemberton, has been run by the same family since 1979. Staff live on site, so someone is with the animals day and night, and vets are on call.
Dogs stay in indoor, fully heated kennels and have use of a large secure outdoor exercise area with tunnels, platforms, soft play equipment and toys. Cats each get a private room in a separate heated, double-glazed building. After every guest, each room is cleaned, disinfected and left empty for 24 hours before the next arrival. Bookings are taken by phone or Facebook message.
