Orrell is on the western side of the borough, between Wigan and Skelmersdale, close to junction 26 of the M6 and the M58. Orrell Water Park is a local favourite for a lakeside dog walk.
Orrell has a farm boarding kennel and a licensed home boarder in the WN5 area. Just over the border in West Lancashire, Upholland has kennels and day care, and Wigan and Ashton-in-Makerfield add plenty more choice.
