Dog Boarding, Kennels & Day Care in Ashton-in-Makerfield

Ashton-in-Makerfield is the main town in the south-west of the borough, between Wigan and St Helens and close to the M6. On its doorstep is the Three Sisters Recreation Area, former colliery spoil heaps turned into a country park with lakes, woodland and open grassland, popular for dog walks.

Ashton is one of the few towns in the borough with every type of licensed care: a traditional boarding kennel, a doggy day care centre and home boarders in the WN4 area. If you’re looking further afield, Orrell and Abram are nearby, and Lowton has the borough’s biggest cluster of kennels.
